

DAVID HOUSETON
Owner/Director
David Houseton is a former college baseball player at the University of North Alabama and Motlow State College. During his four-year college career he started in every position in the outfield. In 1999 during his time at North Alabama his team reached the D-2 world series. In 2000 he started his HS coaching career at Charlotte Christian where he also played HS baseball for Greg Simmons in 1995. For the past two decade’s he has coached HS baseball and travel baseball in the Charlotte area. Since 2000, Coach Houseton has dedicated his coaching career to helping players develop and reach their goal of playing college and professional baseball.
Houseton has also served USA Baseball as a scout and coach on the 14U National Development Program and USA Baseball Team Trials. In Currently, Houseton is the Head Varsity Baseball coach at Covenant Day School and program director and serves and the owner and director for the South Charlotte Braves Baseball Academy.
Houseton currently resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Ashley, and their three children Taylor, Avery, and William. Houseton’s main goal is to build a competitive baseball academy that grows men and teaches the game at the highest level and to assist players that wish to play baseball in college or professionally.
